Here we are after the race in the now empty transition area. We finished and have received our medals. It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait for my next race. Maybe a half marathon next. We finished in 2 hours, 45 minutes, and 10 seconds. Not bad for our first TRI.Sunday, May 10, 2009

12 hours and Counting
In 12 hours I should be entering the water to begin the first lag of my triathlon. I am so excited, I have my bag packed and tri-suit laid out. I have a friend coming over to give my bike a once over and then I am going to hit the sack. I am excited and nervous all at once. I have to trust my training and will be successful.
Thank you for your support and encouragement. I will hear your cheers while competing tomorrow.

Here we before the race. The water looks so inviting doesn't it. It was 77 degrees the morning of the race.
